Editing

If you want help with editing the Wiki, the best place to go for that is probably Wikipedia's help pages.

General stuff for people new to wikis

Wikis have lots of very useful features. You can see most of these in the tabs at the top of every page: discussion, edit, history, move and (un)watch. These are unique to every article.

The discussion page is basically a sandbox where people can talk about and suggest changes before making them in the main article. It's good to suggest things here first, especially if you feel that large chunks of information are irrelevant or need rewriting.

The history page will track all the changes that have been made to the article. You can also compare versions and see who has made each change.

Between the history and discussion pages, you can get a pretty good handle on what's been happening with an article.

The Watch tab is another useful feature. If you click on it, the system will let you easily track when changes have been made to the article or discussion page. To see the pages you are watching, click on the 'my watchlist' link in the top-right corner of the page.
